Welcome to St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church! We are a community of joy in the love of Jesus Christ who is our source, summit and center. The heart of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament propels us onward and towards each other through the virtue of hospitality.
For us, here in this parish, the definition of hospitality is the “Act of providing an environment in which the person can be more than they could be on their own.” You will find that this family on the north shore of Long Island provides the venue for God to be glorified and the individual to be fully alive. In my time as pastor I have witnessed the transforming love of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and in the community impact families and individuals in various ways.
